Engr. S.I.C Okoli

- a distinguished industrialist with an excellent record of corporate administration is currently the Executive Chairman of West Africa Bitumen Emulsion Co. Ltd (WABECO) and Safecon Sierra Leone Limited (former Shell Sierra Leone).

He was a former Managing Director of Shell Petroleum, Sierra Leone and National Oil & Chemical Marketing Plc (now Conoil Plc), and has also held directorship position in a number of Shell companies in Africa and has held various top management positions in the oil sector.

Michael Hugh Thompson

is a seasoned professional in General Management, Finance, Negotiations and other management specialties, having served in various capacity as a Trustee for pension and provident funds and as Chairman of a governing body in Education.

In 1987, he moved to the South African subsidiary of Cape Plc UK, the world’s largest industrial Painting, Thermal Insulation and Scaffolding organisation as Regional Manager for the Northern Regions of South Africa. In 1988, Michael was appointed as the Operations Director for the Northern regions and in 1989 he became the National Operations Director, thereafter he was appointed to the Group Board of Cape Investments Holding Ltd.

In 1992, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Reef Industrial Painters, as well as for a number of its subsidiary companies in Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, & Zimbabwe.

In 2000, Cape Investments Holdings Ltd Group, elected to establish its presence in Nigeria as a strategic business initiative, and appointed Michael to lead the Group’s move into Nigeria. The company was awarded the Sole Rights to International Paints Limited’s Brand of Protective and Marine Coatings for Nigeria, which has since inception flourished in Nigeria through the provision of world class products with world class service and support.

In 2003, Michael relinquished his Executive Role in the Cape Group to take up additional responsibilities in order to fully develop the potential of the paint and coating business in Nigeria.

Michael, with his corporate background, strategic thinking and entrepreneurial abilities, has enjoyed much success in his career and is looking forward to embracing the opportunities that Nigeria and West Africa presents to Industrialists in the coming decades.

Director - Ademola Laniyan


Ademola Laniyan

obtained an LLB Honours Degree in Law from University of Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 1984, and was admitted into Nigerian Bar in 1985. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association and the Nigerian – Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

His area of practice include: Commercial and Corporate law, Intellectual Property Registration and Administration, Property Law and Real Estate, Conveyances and Management, Trade Mark Watch Services, Company Secretarial practice, Oil and Gas.

He was appointed as a Director of PCMN in 2001.

Director - Bassam Dina


Bassam Dina

commenced his career in Nigeria in 1991 after graduating from the Central State University Oklahoma, USA, and spent 3 years with a leading International company in the Oil Services Industry handling logistics, freight and importation where he moved to a fully integrated specialised logistics, freight forwarding and importation company in 1995, so as to establish himself in the industry.

In 1997, Bassam elected to branch out and start a company in the logistics industry. Ten years after, he has successfully developed his business into one of the leading freight forwarding, shipping, clearing, and importation houses in Nigeria.

In 2004, Bassam became a director in PCMN, having seen the growth potential of the business and the future growth opportunities in Nigeria. As a businessman and an entrepreneur, Bassam adds great value to the Board of Directors of PCMN.

Director - Michelle Thompson


Michelle Knupfer

holds a LLB Honours Degree in Law from the University of the Witwatersrand South Africa, recognised as the leading Law Degree in the country.

She has enjoyed a broad base of experience in the legal field, particularly in the areas of Litigation, Labour Law, Mediation and Arbitration.

She was an attorney at one of South Africa’s top leading law firms and in May 2009 began her own Company focussing on Human Resources and legal aspects concerning employment. As a Director in PCMN, she offers much value through her knowledge and experience in her preferred fields of practice.
